BFL Introduces Flux.2 [Max] is Here - Black Forest Labs' Most Powerful Image Model

Black Forest Labs (BFL) just launched a brand new open-weights image model, Flux.2 [max]. It is currently the most capable variant of the Flux.2 family of image models.
Just to give you a quick recap, the other two lower-tier variants are Flux.2 [Pro] and Flux.2 [Flex], which were introduced just a couple of weeks ago. It can be a bit confusing with similar names, so here is the breakdown of the differences between the three models:
Flux.2 [max]: Maximum performance: Highest editing consistency across tasks. Strongest prompt following and faithful representation of various styles. Supports grounded generation with real-time web context.
Flux.2 [pro]: Top performance at an affordable price: The high-quality, production-grade image editing and generation model.
Flux.2 [flex]: Specialized models for typography and keeping small details.
