AI is such a massive market right now that everyone wants a piece of it. Even Canva, the popular design platform best known for drag-and-drop graphics, has jumped into the AI race by releasing its own version of a code generator during its Canva Create 2025 event.
But why would a design-first platform even offer a code generation tool?
It seems out of place at first. I had the same reaction when I saw the announcement.
