Figma just announced Figma Sites, a new feature that lets you turn your designs into live websites with just a few clicks. The announcement dropped during the Config 2025 event yesterday, though details had already leaked a month earlier.

As a developer and product builder who’s been using Figma for years, I find this to be a pretty big deal. Website creation platforms like Framer, Webflow, or Elementor are gonna be shaking in their boots, right?

What is Figma Sites?

Figma Sites is a new product announced at Config 2025, designed to help users go from an existing design to a live site quickly. It allows you to take your designs, deploy them, and build a website directly from Figma tools. The product is built upon the things users already love about Figma and represents a reimagining of an idea to turn Figma into a website builder.
