It’s only been a week since Midjourney dropped their controversial “Character Reference” feature, but they’ve already come out with an awesome update to another powerful tool: “Style Reference v2.0.”

Before things get confusing, let’s clarify the difference between these two features.

• Style Reference: Style references give you the ability to reference the style of another image or to keep a consistent style across many images. It’s similar to image prompts but focuses solely on the style.

• Character Reference: Character Reference is a new feature in Midjourney that allows users to generate consistent characters from different angles based on a provided reference image.
