My $1K MRR Vibe Coded Web App: The Story, Stats, and Revenue
Flux Labs AI was built with Cursor for four weeks. It now has thousands of users and earning $1K per month. Here's how it started, how it's performing, and how much it's earning.
After six months of building in silence, I finally found the courage to launch something I’ve been quietly working on. I posted Flux Labs AI, my UGC video generator app, on Product Hunt.
I’m really proud of this one.
I’ve built a lot of things over the past few years. Some I launched quietly. Others I completely ignored and buried after a few weeks of building. Most of them didn’t stick around long enough for anyone to notice.
That’s been my process. Build fast, test fast, move on. If an idea didn’t feel right, I let it go before anyone even heard about it.
No pressure.
No expectations.
Just me experimenting with tools and ideas in my own corner of the internet.
But Flux Labs felt different from the beginning.
It is the first app I’ve built where I saw myself using it regularly. As a blogger, I’ve been using my own tool to create cover photos for some of my articles. I’ve also used it to generate ad-style videos for other people’s products.
It is useful. It is fun.
And for once, I didn’t feel like I was forcing myself to build just for the sake of building.
It’s also the most beautiful app I’ve built so far. I do not have any design background nor enough front-end development experience, but I made the effort to make it look beautiful. Maybe because deep down, I knew I was going to share it. Eventually.
So I launched it.
For the rest of the article, I will explain the following topics:
