Taylor Swift is currently being criticized for allegedly using AI to promote her new album, The Life of a Showgirl.
My first reaction was “That’s absurd”. She’s too rich to be cheap.
But then I saw the clips on X myself and boom! They were definitely AI-generated… or at least parts of them.
I’ve been experimenting and reviewing video models for years, so I’ve developed a pretty trained eye when it comes to spotting AI images and videos.
The first promo clip I opened already gave it away. Take a look at how the text are rendered in the video screenshot below.
